You Belong. Your Leadership Matters.

Great progress for mountain biking happens because of the team commitment, active work and generosity of mountain bikers united to protect, enhance and create places to ride. The Singletrack Society is a special group of leaders committed to this mission and creating more trails closer to communities. Singletrack Society members are from every part of the country reflecting every level of riding and trail advocacy experience. Together, members share ideas, advocate, provide advice, and express their personal leadership through philanthropic generosity.

Fun Riding Together

We will be in Hood River, Oregon, June 19-21, 2026, and could not be more excited to get up to this amazing Pacific Northwest riding destination for epic trails close to town and out into the backcountry. The region is renowned for great food, wineries, and windsports on the Columbia River. We’ll ride other trails in Oregon a day or two before the event too. Do you have any suggestions on where we could meet on the Wednesday or Thursday before the main event - Bend? McKenzie River Trail? Let us know. It should be an amazing trip, register and book accommodations soon.

We'll then be in Roanoke, VA., September 11-13, 2026 where there are miles of forested singletrack on the rolling hills and oak covered ridges. Check out this recent post from Singletracks.com, Roanoke sounds awesome! We’ll be based downtown Roanoke, with some bedrooms available at the exclusive Firestation One Boutique Hotel , with lots of other accommodations available nearby too. You’ll enjoy great food, shopping, and of course the amazing riding in the area. Do you have any suggestions on where we could meet on the Wednesday or Thursday before the main event - Douthat State Park is great, I know it well, it’s about an hour away, maybe we could meet there for a pre-event ride? It should be another amazing trip!

We held a couple of smaller events in Vermont and Colorado in the past, and may do so again in 2026 - Patagonia, AZ; Steamboat Springs, CO; Lake Tahoe, CA; and another gathering in Vermont on the shortlist for 2026. Keep an eye out for those details. Please feel free to get in touch with Patrick Kell, IMBA's Senior Partnership Manager on 802-371-9033 if you have any questions about these events. See you there!

"I joined the Singletrack Society a few years ago, and it has been an awesome experience!  I discovered a whole new world in mountain bike advocacy, and I learned how important – and rewarding – it is to be involved.  The Singletrack Society has introduced me to amazing new trails in places that I would probably never have ridden.  I have met people from all over the country, brought together by our shared love of mountain biking.  IMBA does so much to promote trail creation, community building, and education.  I am so inspired to be an advocate for mountain biking in my own community!"
